- Coop and run must be in the rear yard, no more than 100 square feet and 8 feet tall.
- Selling eggs or other chicken by-products is prohibited, as is slaughtering on the property.
- Farmland-assessed residential property is exempt from this chapter.
What about ducks?
Probably not on a typical lot. Westampton's hen license covers chickens only; ducks would likely count as poultry, a nonhousehold animal allowed only in the R1 zone on 2 acres or more, plus a half acre for each additional animal. Confirm with the township.
