Can you keep chickens in Borough of Buena, NJ?

- Right to farm protection covers the A-1, R-4 and R-5 zones plus the Pinelands P-A and P-R4 zones, and does not extend to the R-1, R-2, R-3 or business and industrial zones.
- Birds may not be bred for commercial purposes on these three acre properties.
- A shelter for the animals may be no larger than 50% of the square footage of the house on the lot.
- The owner or keeper must live on the same lot or a lot next to it, and the animals must be fenced.
