What is included in the price of a Triano Farms chicken coop?
The base price covers the coop and run, half-inch PVC-coated hardware cloth, a 2-foot dig-proof predator skirt, three-stage nesting boxes, a 29-gauge ribbed steel roof, an automatic coop door, an access ladder, a deep-litter floor design, and on-site assembly.
The only add-ons are automatic feeders, automatic waterers, and custom paint or stain. The automatic door is standard on every coop, not an upsell.

How much is each Triano Farms coop size?
Our six standard coops start at $4,950 for The Nest and go to $10,800 for The Manor. The full lineup: The Nest (4'x12', 4 to 5 hens) from $4,950; The Cottage (6'x16', 6 to 8 hens) from $5,800; The Homestead (8'x16', 9 to 10 hens) from $6,650; The Farmstead (8'x20', 11 to 14 hens) from $7,725; The Estate (8'x24', 15 to 16 hens) from $8,950; The Manor (10'x20', 17 to 20 hens) from $10,800.
These are starting prices for a turn-key coop and run built on your property. Size is the biggest single factor. A walk-in height coop, site prep on uneven ground, custom paint or stain, and automatic feeders or waterers move the number from there.
The Homestead, 8'x16' for 9 to 10 hens, is our most popular size. Bigger or different builds fall under our Signature tier and are quoted to your plan.

Do you offer financing on a coop or shed?
No. We don't offer financing. We take check, credit card, or cash, with a 50% deposit to start the build.
If the budget is the sticking point, two things help. Board-and-batten siding can be swapped for LP board to trim cost, which is the one place we will flex without cutting quality. And a smaller starting size can be planned so it fits the flock you have now.

How much is the deposit, and how can I pay?
A 50% deposit starts the build. We accept check, credit card, or cash, and we don't offer financing.
The deposit is what lets us buy the materials and reserve production time for your build. Your written project agreement sets out the full terms.
Is the deposit refundable if I cancel?
No. You can cancel any time before construction begins, but the deposit is non-refundable, because once you order we buy the materials and reserve production time specifically for your build.
Coops are made to order and installed on-site, so they can't be returned once built. The written project agreement is the full and controlling document.
Are your quotes free?
Yes. Quotes are always free.
Send the quote form, call or text 973-846-1575, or build your coop in the 3D designer and send that. We review what you sent and reach out to talk it through.
What costs extra on a Triano Farms coop?
Only three add-ons: automatic feeders, automatic waterers, and custom paint or premium low-VOC stain.
Design options such as board-and-batten siding, extra nesting boxes, a broody area, larger access doors, and custom run layouts or extensions are quoted with the build.
Electrical, lighting, and site leveling, grading or clearing are handled through local contractors we work with and quoted on top.

Is there a way to lower the cost of a custom coop?
Yes, a little. Swapping board-and-batten siding for LP board trims the cost, and that is the one place we will flex. We won't cut quality anywhere else.
The other lever is size. Sizing the coop to the flock you will actually keep, using about 10 to 15 square feet of run per bird, keeps you from paying for space you don't need.
How much does a backyard homestead setup cost?
It depends on how much you build. A simple starter homestead with a chicken coop, a small garden area and basic fencing may run several thousand dollars, while a complete setup with several animal shelters, larger enclosures, fencing and custom structures can reach $30,000 or more.
It can be built in phases to spread the cost out. Most families start with a chicken coop and run, then add rabbit housing, a goat run-in, fencing or storage as they go, from one plan so each phase fits the last.
