What about ducks?
Unclear. Monroe's backyard program covers chickens only. Its livestock section counts ducks as livestock and requires a fence at least four feet high, but it does not say whether ducks are allowed on a home lot. Ask the township first.
§ 280-17; § 280-18: "LIVESTOCK ... all chickens, ducks, geese, guinea hens, peacocks, turkeys, emus, rheas, and all other poultry and fowl ... A fence, measuring at least four feet high ... is hereby required wherever livestock is kept." Duck coops we build.
