Good to know

• The code has no chicken, poultry, hen or rooster section. Fowl appear only in the RA zone rules.
• In the RA zone, farming in any of its forms is a permitted use and the minimum lot is 5 acres. A building housing more than 50 fowl must be 150 feet from any zone line or neighboring home.
• The R-1 zone lists one-family homes, parks and customary accessory uses, and says all other uses not specifically permitted are prohibited. R-2, R-20 and R-8 follow R-1.
• No pending new laws were listed.

What about ducks?

Unclear for most homes. Millstone mentions 'fowl of all kinds' only in its Rural Agricultural zone rules for 5-acre farms; the residential zones are silent, so check with the borough.
