Can you keep chickens in Township of Deerfield, NJ?

Good to know
- The limits apply in every zone except the A-Agriculture Zone.
- Ten more fowl are allowed for each acre over 2 acres, up to 5 acres; above 5 acres there is no cap.
- No commercial processing or slaughtering of fowl, and no odors beyond the property line.
- The code defines fowl to include chickens, turkeys, ducks and geese.
What about ducks?
Ducks follow the same rule as chickens. Outside the A-Agriculture zone you need at least 1 acre; up to 10 fowl on 1 to 2 acres, 10 more per extra acre up to 5 acres, with shelters at least 50 feet from lot lines.
