Delivery and site prep for your coop or shed
We build about 80% of every coop and shed in our New Jersey shop, deliver the sections to your property, and assemble them there like a modular home, usually in a day or two (two for larger builds). We handle the easier level-ground work ourselves. For bigger grading or clearing, we bring in a local site-prep contractor.

We build in our shop
About 80% of your coop or shed is built in our New Jersey shop before it ever reaches your property.
We deliver the sections
The pieces are brought to your property and carried to where the build will stand. No finished structure has to be trucked or rolled into place.
We assemble on your property
The sections go together on the prepared pad, like a modular home. Usually one day, two for larger builds.
Site prep: what we handle and what a local site-prep contractor does
The ground under the coop or shed needs to be level and stable. Easier level-ground work is something we handle ourselves, and we set the build to grade with blocks. Site prep can also be done by you, if you prefer.
For bigger areas that need grading or clearing, we bring in a local site-prep contractor. The scope of that work depends on what your yard needs, and whether your yard needs it at all depends on the ground itself.
Not sure where your yard stands? Start with the assembled-on-site build or compare delivered vs. custom on-site.
Delivery and site questions
Do you need truck access to the exact spot?
No. We deliver the sections and carry them to where the coop or shed will sit, then assemble in place. We don't need to roll a finished structure across your yard to its final location.
Will delivery damage my lawn?
We bring the pieces in and assemble on the pad, so there's no oversized pre-built structure to drag across the grass and rut it.
How long does assembly take once the sections arrive?
Usually one day, and two for larger builds. The bulk of the construction happens in our shop first, so most of the work on your property is putting the sections together.
Can you deliver to a fenced yard?
Yes. The build comes in sections that fit through a standard gate, so we can assemble inside a fenced yard.
Who does the site prep?
It can be done by us or by you. We level the base with blocks to reach grade and handle the easier level-ground work ourselves. For bigger grading or clearing, we bring in a local site-prep contractor. Whether your yard needs that depends on the ground itself.
What if my lot is sloped or hard to reach?
Assembling on-site handles difficult lots well. We set the coop level to grade and work around trees, slopes, and existing structures. If a site needs real grading or clearing first, a local site-prep contractor handles that part.
We build across New Jersey. See our service areas.
