Can you keep chickens in Borough of Beachwood, NJ?

Good to know
- The ban covers goats, cattle, chickens and pigeons alike.
- Residents who already kept pigeons and pigeon coops when the section was adopted were grandfathered in. Chickens got no such exception.
- Live swine and pigs are banned separately, and poultry may not run at large.
- No pending ordinance in the borough's New Laws list touches chickens as of September 2026.

Unclear. Beachwood bans chickens, goats, cattle and pigeons but does not list ducks; its duck rules cover feeding and abandoning wild birds. Ask the borough first.
